Dr. Halchuk graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 2014. She was born in Winnipeg and raised in Gypsumville, Manitoba. With a calm and gentle personality, she helps children and anxious patients feel comfortable, heard, and at ease.
She is personable, takes a genuine interest in every patient, and is always ready to go the extra mile. Dr. Halchuk provides full service family dentistry for patients of all ages with a patient centered approach, always placing strong value on open communication and informed care.
She loves all aspects of dentistry, particularly aesthetics and comprehensive dentistry, and is passionate about helping patients make confident decisions about their oral health. Her belief is simple: the mouth is where our health begins, and regular dental visits play an important role in long term overall wellness.
During her time at the University of Manitoba, she focused on Early Childhood Tooth Decay in First Nations children, an area that continues to hold a special place in her heart. She is always building on her knowledge by attending the latest seminars and conferences in dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Halchuk loves to travel and spend time with her dog. She also enjoys fitness, skiing, fishing, pilates, hiking, and finding adventure wherever she is. She works at the La Salle and Sherbrook locations.
